isps offer free internet for the next 60 days

On Saturday March 14th, several of the larger Internet Service Providers announced that they would be offering free data, with some offering free service, speed upgrades, and hotspot access for the next 60 days across the United States. This is a relief for thousands of people who suddenly find themselves working and attending virtual classes from home due to the coronavirus outbreak. 

FCC urges ISPs to keep Americans connected amid Coronavirus shutdowns

On Friday, March 13, the Federal Communications Commission has created an initiative that asks telephone and broadband providers to support the ever-increasing numbers of adults and children working and attending classes from home in response to the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic.
